I Am Roses Inspiration

Hello dear visitors!

I have a couple of projects which I haven't shared on my blog, created for the I Am Roses team. I want to show them to you today, as well to remind that you can submit any of your creations (as long as they have 'I Am Roses' flowers on them) to our monthly Anything Goes Challenge.

Using the IAR flowers and the Fabrika Decoru "Especially for Her" paper I've made a fridge holder for post-it notes:

I've created this kind of holder before and I just love this project for its functionality! I also like the fact that it is easy to make and allows you to embellish the holder in any way you like, and in any style.

I've also used decorative chipboard frames from Studio "Prosto Nebo":

Here are the IAR flowers that I used:
R77
R8
R3
S10
R5 (grey)

There is also a card that I've out together with the card topper featuring a cute illustration by Sylvia Zet:

And that is all from me for today!  hope you all feel well and crafty :)

A bag and a matching album - Fabrika Decoru DT Project

Hello!

It's my turn to share a project on the Fabrika Decoru's blog today. I have put together a trapezium-shaped purse with a matching album, faturing one of the older paper collections called "Rose Garden".

The purse is created out of medium weight chipboard and has a fabric flap, which allows an easier access to the album:

I've used my sewing machine for creating a button hole on the flap. Enjoyed it so much :))
The album is 6X6" and has 4 spreads. It is covered with the linen fabric of a neutral color and embellished with the die cut elements as well some cut out flowers, decorative chipboard (from Studio "Prosto Nebo")

Later on I plan to get a video overview of this project and to show all the opening flaps of the album, as well the hidden pocket and envelopes, so watch for the updates on my channel.

For now, I will only post the pictures of the 4 main spreads:

Here are the links to the 'Fabrika Decoru' products for completing this project:

Thanks for watching and have a nice day!

Graphic 45 Little Women - A Box With a Sliding Closure

Hello dear all!

Today one of my design team projects is featured on the Graphic 45 blog and the collection that I chose to create with this, was the "Little Women".

Not so long ago, I posted a tutorial for creating a box with a sliding closure. I just to create one more!

I love to create boxes and every time I sit down to make a box, I want it to be special in something. Sometimes I succeed less in this, sometimes more.

I’ve added a tiny shadow box to a closure, and attached a metal envelope charm to it too.

To open the box, you need to slide the "buckle" down the groove on the lid:

Inside the box there is a little notebook, also created from scratch out of medium weight chipboard and plain photocopy papers, bound in the Coptic stitch binding method.

I hope you like my today’s share and this inspires you to create with the gorgeous “Little Women” by Graphic 45.

G45 Floral Shoppe Tool Stand - Tutorial

Hello to all the G45 fans!

Have you ad a chance to get some of the Floral Shoppe papers yet? How beautiful this collection is!

Today I would like to share a project followed by a full video tutorial on making a little tool stand out of medium weight chipboard and embellishing it with the designer paper from the Floral Shoppe collection.

This is the end result of the tutorial:

Floral Shoppe Tool Stand Tutorial by Clayguana

You can use the stand for anything you like in your craft room. I made it mainly for my glue bottles:

Here is the link to the tutorial on You Tube:

You will need to prepare the chipboard pieces first and below you can find the layout of the majority pieces needed for the project:

You will need several additional rectangular pieces (which are simple to cut, that's why I did not include them in the layout), and I will talk about their measurements in the tutorial as well.
